Ah! Gevonden op hun facebooksite:
"Newton Espresso
25 juli ·
Since we haven't quite released the Newton to the world yet we have been getting a lot of questions about how it works and what it can produce! Here are some stats for the details people out there!
Warming the Newton - simply pour boiling water into the top and push it through the press and into your cup. This will warm up the barrel and your cup to start off with.
The Process - Pack the basket and screw it into the bottom of the barrel. Add fresh boiling water to the top of the barrel. Empty your freshly warmed cup and place it back under the barrel. Lift the lever up and then begin to press down slowly till you see the first drips come through. Pause for a second for the water to infuse into the grinds and then continue to press down till you reach the bottom. Now you have one great espresso shot. Add water and milk as required.
The basket - our basket can hold between 15-18grams of coffee tamped down with our custom tamper. To get the perfect crema the amount you put in will differ depending on the style and fineness of your grind. Freshly ground coffee helps too!
The pressure - Our press can reach 120psi or between 8-9bar pressure. This again depends on how fine your grinds are and how much you pack the basket.
The result - The joy of using the Newton is in the fact that you learn how to create a great coffee from experience. You learn to work with the grinds you have and match the pressure to suit and create a delicious coffee!"
