Klopt, daarom verbaasde het mij laatst ook van de man van de Xenia hier te lezen dat hij weer een heel nieuwe versie aan het ontwikkelen is om energie te besparen. Voor je het weet geef je 4000 euro extra uit om een dubbeltje te besparen.

It is important to work on this climate crisis - at least to have done what is possible.

And our intention is to transfer the results to our other machines (if possible).

I appreciate and admire the effort!

Mijn Strega heeft de afgelopen 30 dagen 28,48 kWh verbruikt. 3/4 shots per dag, in het weekend wat meer en dan laat ik hem ook wel eens een dagje aan staan. Lijkt inderdaad nogal mee te vallen.

Ik zit nu met Londinium R op 25,14 kWh afgelopen 30 dagen. Wel interesaant om een referentie te hebben, dank voor de info!

Ooit betaalden we belasting over de hoeveelheid ramen in een huis, we lachen er nu om maar er is niet veel veranderd...over 100 jaar lachen we hier waarschijnlijk ook om.

However...we consider it is our task to improve coffee machines with boilers by reducing the energy consumption as much as possible. But we delivery not only the reduction of energy consumption, but we also provide also a lot of features you will hardly find on other machines.

Nobody knows what will be in 100 years (or less). But I think that the chance that anybody will laugh about it, is not very high.

However...we consider it is our task to improve coffee machines with boilers by reducing the energy consumption as much as possible. But we delivery not only the reduction of energy consumption, but we also provide also a lot of features you will hardly find on other machines.

It's certainly a good marketing point and I hope you will sell a lot of xenia machines because of this climate thing going on. If someone really thinks he will destroy our globe by using energy for all kind of things I would advice them to stop heating up a coffee boiler machine every day for 2 or 3 espressos and stop drinking roasted coffee heated by gas or electricity.

These are just my thoughts. Maybe in the next 100 years I will think diffirent about this but in the meantime I will enjoy my espresso.

But I didn't question your beautiful creations just the different points of view about this climate thing going on and I really grant you a good business, you deserve it with all your hard work.
I don't think we shouldn't care about our space ship earth and take our responsibility, it's just this political approach going on worldwide of solving a problem with taxes etc. It has always been the same.
